Something To Consider...
We do not make claims that we are the best. In fact, all brokers and agents that you may consider retaining for your sales or valuation will be very qualified and well suited to handle you acquisition. However, considering that it may take 6-9 months, or even up to a year to sell your practice, be sure you genuinely like your broker or you will be miserable. Your relationship with your broker may prove to be a relationship of trust, dependability, and commitment like no other business relationship you’ve had in the past. Sure, your attorney, CPA, or real estate agent may play an integral part of the selling process, but truth be told, your broker will handle 80% of your sale so be sure you get along well. Your broker must get along with your attorney to assure you are protected legally. Further, your broker must be in contact and get along well with your CPA because your CPA will be required to render financial reports such as P & L’s and tax returns as well as provide legal tax advice after the sale. Lastly, you may only need a real estate agent if you are selling real property. Your broker will coordinate your team of advisors. Essentially, your team of advisors should always be on the same page.
